South Korea
In recent years, ASEAN has emerged as South Korea's third largest trading partner while the country's investment in ASEAN also soared from US$500 million to US$3.6 billion. Through accelerating trade and investment, promoting tourism and cultural exchanges, closer ties can be forged.
This presents an even more exciting time than ever to be in Singapore. Singapore is putting focus on developing key industries such as interactive & digital media, engineering and healthcare. This means there are opportunities abundant for professionals in these areas. In addition, talent who are interested in investing and setting up businesses in Singapore also find themselves in an extremely business friendly environment, and one which was ranked the world’s easiest place to do business by the World Bank’s Doing Business 2012 Report.
High living standards make Singapore the best place in the world for Asian expatriates to live in. High quality infrastructure and health facilities, combined with low health risks, air pollution and crime rates have made Singapore a very desirable location.
