Media Development Authority (MDA) of Singapore has unveiled its latest $40 million microfunding scheme for aspiring individuals and small groups who have new and original ideas in the digital media space. MDA has plans to fund around 750 to 1,000 projects over the next five year.

As of now, 40 projects have been received by MDA with about half coming from young entrepreneurs.

This is one of the latest programmes by MDA to boost the digital media business incubation industry. MDA will also organise a bi-monthly networking sessions for incubators, entrepreneurs and potential entrepreneurs.
