Companies such as Singapore Technologies Aerospace, Messier, Windsor Airmotive and Goodrich Aerostructures help to make Singapore a popular destination for comprehensive and reliable MRO services. The Seletar Aerospace Park is the poster child for Singapore’s exceptional infrastructure and the Biennial Singapore Airshow has become one of the world’s top three international aviation shows, since its inauguration in 2008.
Main aircraft parts manufactured in Singapore include engine gears, valves, and galley equipment. Rolls-Royce, a leading provider of aircraft engines, has built its first Asian plant in Singapore. Located at the Seletar Aerospace Park, the plant manufactures the Trent 1000 engines for large commercial aircraft such as the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
Goodrich Aerostructures, which has its largest MRO facility in Singapore since 1995, has continued to expand its facility with a twin focus on both Nacelle System and airframe composite components for commercial airlines to its current 550,000-sq-ft site offering a complete spectrum of MRO solutions to commercial and military aerospace customers.
